Ophelia the Cat needs a home
I like to play fetch!
Ophelia was born around March 31, 2017. She came from the Rochester area from people who didn't spay their cat and let her outside. Nine weeks later, she has babies...what a surprise. Ophelia is a stunningly beautiful calico who is full of purrs, chirps and energy. Ophelia has been in one of our wonderful foster homes, and here is an update from her foster mom:
”
She is such a quirky kitty. She makes us laugh —she loves sitting in boxes! We don’t dare throw any small boxes away because she’s probably sleeping in it! She likes dogs. She loves to rub against our mix. He’s not thrilled with it but she thinks it’s a hoot to rub on him. She will ask to be picked up— she will put her paws on your shoulders when she wants to be held. And she will instantly start to purr and loudly. She is not shy — she is always out when we have company. She wants to be noticed by any and all of the adoring public. She still loves playing with springs and will “fetch” but only with the spring. She won’t fetch any other toy. She also loves the laser and stalking her foster brother. Of the two fosters, she is the bossy one - definitely in charge of Butters (she was in charge when we had her brothers, too. She is a boss lady!) Like I said, she is quirky. She like to have fun and wants to be noticed! You might even go so far in calling her a diva — not a full diva, but she is definitely working on it!”
She’s is sweet, beautiful cat who’s been waiting so long to find her forever home!
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
The ADOPTION FEE for kittens is $85.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular kitten. The adoption fee for a young cat (1 to 3 years) is $75.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for a particular cat. The adoption fee for a cat 3 years and up is $50.00 unless there is a specific amount listed for that cat. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
